The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is a mega-scale project designed to disclose the finer details of the still mysterious neutrino, the most abundant subatomic particle having mass in the universe. Over the course of the next 20 years, an international contingent of DUNE scientists will answer questions on the origin of matter, proton decay, and provide the inner workings of the death of massive stars, a.k.a supernovae.
