NSF EPSCoR awards
Acknowledgement of Support
Unless otherwise provided in the award, the recipient is responsible for assuring that an acknowledgment of NSF support is made:
(i) in any publication (including World Wide Web pages) of any material based on or developed under this project through use of the following language: "This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Award No. (NSF award number)."
(ii) NSF support also must be orally acknowledged during all news media interviews, including popular media such as radio, television, and news magazines.

Each NSF award contains as part of the award general terms and conditions, an article implementing the recipient obligations regarding the acknowledgement of support.

The recipient is responsible for assuring that every publication of material (including World Wide Web pages) based on or developed under an NSF award, except scientific articles or papers appearing in scientific, technical, or professional journals, contains the following disclaimer: "Any opinions, findings and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation."
Nd EPSCoR internal funding sources
Funding provided by ND EPSCoR must be acknowledged in any promotional/recruiting material and products that results from the activity and/or research.

Acknowledgement includes the use of the ND EPSCoR logo and an acknowledgement statement.
Examples include:
"Research presented in this poster/conference was supported by ND EPSCoR."

"The authors would like to acknowledge financial support from the ND EPSCoR STEM grants program for this research."
