Poster Presentation

Bioengineering and Biomedical applications are two crucial developing sectors. Important branches in bioengineering are covered such as Tissue, Neural, pharmaceutical engineering, clinical, and others. Those fields are so important as they address many health problems, and how to cure chronic or incurable diseases. Obstacles are due to the amount of big data and copious options that researchers must test. ML&AI are powerful because they can find deep correlations between data, predict behaviors and patterns in an unmatched way. That is why ML&AI are used in many applications such as drug delivery, encapsulation and other tissue-engineering uses. In one study about the relationship between hydrogels and the chemical properties of their corresponding peptides, more than 2,000 peptides were evaluated with quantitative structure-property relationship. It was observed that the stiffness is directly affected by the diameter and cross-linking of nanofiber. Another study discussed how the body's natural abilities and healing processes can be utilized under further understanding of the stem cells and biomaterials to develop a personalized implants extracted from the patient's stem-cells to make sure its compatible with each patient. In the pharmaceutical industry ML&AI has also been used
