ND EPSCoR seeks to provide STEM research seed awards of up to $60,000 in direct costs (State funds, indirect costs not allowed) to researchers at ND institutions of higher education. Funding will be provided to faculty for the specific purpose of generating preliminary data needed to support the preparation of a STEM proposal for submission to a federal agency.

Pages and Pathways by the numbers

The RSTE launches its latest cohort
Since 2021, ND-ACES has sponsored the Rural Student Teaching Experience (RSTE) program. The RSTE supports student teachers while they complete a one-semester internship in rural North Dakota schools, primarily in STEM classrooms. The program offers participants mentorship from experienced educators and provides them with a stipend to cover their living expenses while they are away from their home campus.
