The UND College of Education and Human Development held its third annual Pages and Pathways: PreK-12 Science of Learning conference on June 17 and 18 in Grand Forks. Pages and Pathways is an opportunity for regional educators to spend two days learning about literacy, STEM, and well-being. This year, the conference featured a mix of one-hour sessions and two-hour workshops.
Here are some quick facts about this year’s conference:
218 continuing education credits were earned (sponsored by ND EPSCoR)
125 educators attended the conference
55 educators presented at the conference
40 North Dakota towns were represented
Attendees rated the value of the conference for the cost at 9.5 out of ten. Educators’ feedback praised the variety of topics and the overall environment of the conference, with one grateful for “wonderful ideas that I will be able to actually use. That doesn't always happen.”
Congratulations to the conference planning team of Patricia Lopez, Katie Stermer, and Ryan Summers for organizing another successful event this year.
