Research networking event: Cover Crops and Pollinators Intentional Collision

ND EPSCoR is hosting an “intentional collision” event for North Dakota researchers who focus on issues surrounding cover crops and pollinators.

Intentional collisions are networking opportunities designed to bring individuals with similar research interests together from across North Dakota in a setting designed to facilitate building teams to address research questions. This event will bring together researchers and other stakeholders to engage in larger discussions about the challenges facing the state related to cover crops and pollinators in the areas of research, education, and workforce development.

The goal of this intentional collision is to plant the seeds for the development of multi-institutional research teams who will submit collaborative proposals that will address problems of interest to the state, region, and nation. The future SPARK-ND Seed Grant program will request proposals to support multi-institutional teams related to this and other intentional collision events.

Date: Wednesday, April 22

Time: 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm CDT

Location: North Dakota Heritage Center, Bismarck

There is no cost for participation, but registration is required. A hybrid option will be available, but participants are encouraged to attend in person. Register for the Cover Crops and Pollinators Intentional Collision by April 15, 2026, at this link.

Attendees are also invited to stay in Bismarck to attend the 2026 Tribal College Research Symposium on April 22 and 23. The registration deadline for the Tribal College Research Symposium is April 1, and late registrations will not be accepted.
